Tyrone “Hollywood” Brown is a former Harlem Globetrotter, basketball entertainer, mentor, and motivational speaker whose life is built around persistence, responsibility, and helping others believe in what is possible.
At just nine years old, Tyrone wrote down a goal: “I want to become a Harlem Globetrotter.” He held onto that dream through setbacks and being cut from professional basketball opportunities 15 times. In 1985, he achieved his goal and joined the Harlem Globetrotters, where he spent more than a decade performing and inspiring audiences around the world.
His work has always extended beyond basketball. Tyrone has dedicated himself to inspiring young people to set goals, work hard, develop positive habits, and take responsibility for their lives. Through his Ambassadors of Responsibility Foundation and his “We Don’t Stop” message, he continues to encourage both young people and adults to keep moving forward.
Tyrone’s story connects naturally with the 3P Champions message: Passion. Purpose. Principle. His journey demonstrates the power of having a dream, writing it down, staying committed through setbacks, and refusing to stop.
