Scott Laigo is the founder of Student Athlete Advocates, an organization focused on helping student-athletes and their families navigate the complicated world of college recruiting, eligibility, academics, and athletic scholarships.

A Seattle native and longtime coach, Scott has spent decades working with young people and has coached at the elementary, high school, and college levels, including serving as a high school football head coach. His experiences as a coach helped him recognize how much guidance families need as they navigate the path from high school athletics to college.

Through Student Athlete Advocates, Scott works to educate athletes, parents, and school counselors while emphasizing academics, character, athletic development, and access to opportunity. His work also addresses the rapidly changing landscape of college athletics, including recruiting, NIL, and the transfer portal.

Scott’s passion is helping young people and their families make informed decisions and find the right path forward. His story connects naturally with the 3P Champions message: Passion. Purpose. Principle.
