WSU All-American • NFL Player • Broadcaster • Coach • Mentor

Paul Sorensen’s story is about competition, perseverance, mentorship, and giving back. A former Washington State All-American safety and co-captain, Paul went on to play professionally in the NFL and USFL before building a second career in sports broadcasting, business, coaching, and community involvement.

Inducted into the Washington State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017, Paul has spent decades around sports and young people. He was a longtime radio color analyst for Washington State football and has also worked in broadcasting for other Northwest programs.

On the 3P Champions Podcast, Paul shares the people and experiences that shaped his life, including his mentors, his journey from junior college to Washington State, his professional football experience, and the lessons he learned through adversity and competition.

But perhaps most importantly, Paul talks about giving back. His passion for youth sports, mentorship, leadership, character, and helping young people become better people—not simply better athletes—is central to his story.
